Abstract

Peroxisome proliferators - activated receptor γ (PPAR γ), which is a type of nuclear receptor, exhibits extensive expression across multiple biological fields. As a transcription factor, it plays a role in regulating gene expression and influencing diverse physiological processes, with a particular emphasis on immune cells. In this article, the biological functions of PPAR γ within macrophages, neutrophils, NK cells, T cells (including CD8+T, Th2, Th9, Th17, and Treg cells), and B cells are investigated.
