Abstract

In smart homes, IoT connects devices for real-time data collection, control, and remote management, enhancing convenience, security, and energy efficiency. The smart appliance control system is a crucial component of smart homes, encompassing various household appliances and enabling automatic adjustment of device states based on user needs and environmental changes. This improves residential comfort while optimizing energy utilization. By constructing a virtual representation of the physical home environment, digital twins enable real-time data synchronization between household appliances and cloud platforms, enabling users to remotely monitor appliance operation and implement precise optimization control based on data analysis. This paper explores the application of digital twin technology in smart appliance control, analyzing its advantages in fault prediction and energy optimization, as well as the process of remote monitoring and optimized control of home systems.
