Abstract

The regular occurrence of hand injuries is a significant health issue in training, such as rowing. This research incorporated kaempferol components and developed a gel for protecting against trauma to prevent hand injuries, based on the author's expertise in training and protection. The gel is a hydrogel prepared by freezing and thawing polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). The gel provides a moist environment and cover protection for the wound, thereby accelerating wound healing. In addition, kaempferol possesses various biological activities, such as anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, antibacterial, and antioxidant effects. Therefore, in this study, we used PVA and kaempferol to prepare kaempferol composite hydrogel and the effect of kaempferol hydrogel on cells was characterized. Kaempferol's antibacterial properties were confirmed, and the effectiveness of kaempferol composite hydrogel in healing full-thickness skin wounds in mice was studied. In addition, it proved that the new hydrogel has good tension and maintains a stable state at room temperature.
